1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

· Responsible for ensuring production goals are met, providing the necessary support, training and development of manufacturing leadership, ensuring proper resource allocation/utilization, driving continuous process improvement and supporting safety/environmental goals.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

· Coordinates production activities with support functions such as maintenance, materials, manufacturing engineering, quality, safety etc.

· Responsible for managing scrap, hourly production rate to standard, employee turnover rate, efficiency, downtime and overtime.

· Directs activities through manufacturing leadership to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

· Responsible for developing the leadership skills of the Group Leaders through coaching, training, motivating and counseling.

· Assists in achieving manufacturing business objectives and serves as the point person for driving Lean initiatives such as pull, 5S, 7 kinds of waste, etc.

· Responsible for addressing and resolving employee, process, and quality issues in a timely manner.

· Ensures open lines of communication among shifts, with the Production Manager and all appropriate support personnel.

· Responsible for meeting Operational Excellence goals and achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.

· Complies with and supports the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

· Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of a safe working environment.

3. KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求

· Excellent English (verbal & written).

· Demonstrated experience in motivating, mentoring employees and meeting business objectives.

· Demonstrated problem resolution skills i.e., 7D, 5P, 5-why etc.

· Good time management and organizational skills.

· Able to operate PC based software programs and operate automated business systems.

· Strong manufacturing and business knowledge.

· Capable of being certified on lean manufacturing principles, HAZCOM and SPC is desired.

· Management experience is desired.

4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 教育及经验要求

· Educational: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical or electronic.

· Experience: More than 3 years related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
