Job desription:
1.undertake and document the necessary risk assessments
2.define operating procedures and appropriate control measures for the laboratory, technical facility maintenance, and waste management operations in the BTC, and for operations at an offsite sample inventory storage location
3. Excellent communication skills which will be used both internally and externally
4. Demonstration of authority in covering both technical and regulatory compliance requirements
5. Expert knowledge of HSE management in chemical laboratory operations
6. 9 months contracted offer.
Request:
Likely to have a degree in chemistry, and experience of working in the chemical industry, particularly with petrochemical materials
Experience in Chemical Laboratory Operations, ideally in the petroleum or petrochemical additive industry or alternatively in the pharmaceutical, paints or other surface coatings industries
An approved Chinese Safety Qualification – degree or diploma
Knowledge and experience of ensuring compliance with Chinese HSE Regulations for laboratory operations, chemical waste management, transportation of oil and additive samples, including for a small subset of those classified as “dangerous goods”.
Fluent in Mandarin, and with good written and spoken English capabilties
