Major activities:

The trainee will be part of Hipro process team and be involved in a diamine production workshop.

Diamine is produced in two process steps involving a nitrilation and a hydrogenation section. The intern, under the responsibility of the DA10 process manager, will study variable cost optimization of both sections.

Internship consists in

- Follow up variable costs and identify deviation causes versus standards

- Perform process calculations to confirm theoretical consumptions

- Propose simple modifications for optimization

Special focus will be done on thermal balance and utility balance.

During his/her internship, the trainee will take the chance to discover the process engineer tasks while applying his technical knowledge acquired at University.

The position requires good communication skills as the trainee will work in close contact with different departments: production, projects and safety.
