Job Description:

1. Initiate, leads and manage actions to develop the quality level of the suppliers in their deliveries and ensure they meet Wartsila requirements.
2. Works with suppliers in optimizing their manufacturing technologies and processes in order to deliver components at the required quality level
3. Manages the Supplier development also by the mean of Process Control Plan audits, Parts Quality Assurance plan, Quality Management system audits
4. Monitor supplier performance based on the system data, reports from suppliers, Cognos, SAP and other available sources.
5. Initiates and advises on required actions, based on the analyzed supplier performance data.
6. In case of repetitive and/or escalated Q&D performance or claims, where local SQA, cannot proceed, the SQE shall take actions with the supplier for corrective action plan with the responsible people assigned & deadlines for each action and follow-up its execution.
7. SQE is responsible for proactively providing feedback and continuous development of the supplier development tools and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Good at office software such as WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT and OUTLOOK.
2. Strong communication skills (including English speaking, reading, writing and listening), clear and logic thinking and effective expression skills.
3. Have QMS knowledge and supplier audit skills.
4. Have the knowledge of casting or welding process and have the capablity to develope and improve the production process.
5. Having pro-active attitude and an urge to get things through/implemented.
6.Bachelor or above, major in casting or welding is preferred. Over 5 years working experience related casting or welding production.
7.Over 3 years of supplier quality management experience.
