Description:
· To represent Owner within the China automotive community and facilitate development of Owner ’s reputation as a world-class additives company
· To build meaningful, collaborative relationships with individuals at Owner ’s target OEMs.
· To create value from the IL activity by focusing on the identification and progression of new and/or extended business opportunities in the China market
· To ensure that Owner products are evaluated and properly approved against key China OEM and industry performance requirements.
· To support Owner ’s China OEM strategy through collection of relevant market/technical information and assisting in its interpretation to regularly adapt our strategy
· To make clear and tangible advances in the way OEM accounts are managed for the benefits of Owner , our customers and the OEMs
· To balance conflicting resource demands of dedicated OEM account management and broader industry liaison activities
Requirment:
· Experience of the China automotive community and the ability to command respect within Owner, with OEMs, customers, additive companies and other industry stakeholders
· Advanced communication and negotiation abilities with the ability to operate comfortably and credibly in the representation and progression of Owner tactical and strategic objectives
· Broad knowledge, experience and ongoing interest in the automotive and affiliated hardware industries. Procurement, production, or commercial experience in the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage
· Broad business experience and some technical knowledge of crankcase lubricants and/or additives
· Ability to work independently and to develop/maintain extensive networks into Owner businesses in China and globally
