Job Requirements:
？ College education in related mechanical or engineering sectors.
？ Five years of related Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive experience.
？ Quality engineer or manufacturing engineer in die casting/machining/plastics/stamping facility is preferred.
？ Computer literate.
？ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both oral and written English.
？ Reading of Blueprint printing, inspection and measurement philosophy.
？ Strong negotiation skills and organizational skills.
？ Thorough knowledge of quality and manufacturing tools such as SPC, FMEA, control plans, poke yoke, pareto analysis, cause and affect analysis, fishbone diagrams, PPAP, root cause analysis.
？ General knowledge of TS16949, certified internal TS16949 auditor preferred.
？ Be familiar with casting, machining, stamping, plastic molding, power metal, ball bearing manufacturing processes.

Job Description:
？ Conduct supplier evaluations focusing on all aspects: supplier capabilities, on-time delivery, responsiveness, quality, diagnostic record and stability of finished goods inventory.
？ Champion of assigned supplier development initiatives and actively manage the development of new suppliers through our PSO process.
？ Assist in the development and maintenance of a supplier manual.
？ Work with suppliers for root cause analysis of supplier non-conforming product.
？ Responsible for the verifications of supplier's process.
？ Management of assigned supplier corrective actions e.g. SRS, DMR.
？ Impose and monitor Level 1 and Level 2 containment of suppliers where necessary.
？ Work with all Litens team members in the essences of continual improvement.
？ Participate in the supplier selection process.
？ Develop and maintain relationships with both the customer and supplier.
？ Provide supplier training as required to improve supplier performance ratings.
？ Provide monthly supplier ratings to all suppliers.
？ Support all APQP activities as per Litens APQP requirements.
？ Ensure customer specific requirements are adhered to.
？ Frequent travel is a requirement of this position.
