SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Together with General Manager to formulate a sales plan, implementing the plan to reach to sales target. Maintain excellent relationship with current customers and fast develop new business in different application areas. Excellent knowledge about own product, market trend, development, and competition.
Provide engineering and application support to existing and potential customers externally, capitalizing the company strengthen in the areas of brand name, technology, engineering, quality, supply chain and so on.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan and Implements individual Sales Plans and Programs that support the Company’s growth strategy. Meeting or exceeding the set sales target in volume and contribution margin.
2. Provide information to management on a monthly basis, for forecasting targeted business, changes to annual forecast, how we can convert particular business, what we don’t have, etc.
3. Proactively find sales leads, follow up, and eventually successfully conclude the sales
4. Develop formal sales strategy on major accounts. Establish and maintain excellent relationship with them to keep or increase market share on these accounts.
5. Reviews sales performance each week and reports findings to Supervisor. Assesses performance against plan and takes corrective action as needed to improve performance.
6. Responsible for communicating to our Customers an understanding of Product Standardization, Product Offerings, Lead Times, and Credit Approval Procedures.
7. Makes systematic contact on potential customers and report the content of all contacts to Supervisor, including business issues and competitive activity.
8. Adhere to Travel & Entertainment Policy and budget requirements.
9. Ensures Customer follow-up for all Corrective Action problems, issues and concerns; follow up with Customers who have a complaint in the system once a week; travel to Customer’s location(s) as necessary to investigate quality problems.
10. Proactively reporting and discussing with superior all Corrective Action to stay abreast of Customer, Manufacturing & Supplier Chain issues
11. Able to collect and maintain customer information and competitive information as name, contact, type of product, demand, new trends, pricing, value-added services and other information requested by superior.
12. Proactively coordinate with Manufacturing, lead Quality Control Management and to review customer specifications for improvements; follow up with Customers to implement changes.
13. Technically, understand and interpret market and customer’s application needs, coordinate, propose and implement technical and engineering solutions to successfully serve the customer and meeting their needs.
14. Perform other tasks and functions as required or assigned by branch manager
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
l SKILL
· Knowledge of:
· Sales Information System
· Customer Order Process - Symix
· Microsoft Word, Windows (latest update version)
· Knowledge of gasket industry, product specifications, manufacturing processes/capabilities, materials and product cost/pricing
· Selling techniques which include the ability to negotiate, motivate, persuade and the ability to perform effective presentations if necessary
· Understanding of business ethics
· Knowledge of production processes and flow of product
· Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· The ability to develop price quotations for products

· Degree in Engineering or equivalent 3 to 5 years related work experience.

l WORK EXPERIENCE
Up to three (3) years of successful experience as sales, engineer, preferably in a manufacturing organization
