Responsibilities:
Global PMO Role:
? Proactively support the global IS Portfolio/Program/Project Management Office (PMO).
? Overseeing regional requirements for programs and projects management, while coaching the programs/projects management user groups within the region.
? Monitoring and control of IS programs/projects within the responsible regions/functions/ operations/BU combination globally.
? Proactively works on improvement opportunities for the established global Portfolio/Program/Project Management methodologies.
? Support PMO requirement, having regards on innovative solutions, value management, cost effectiveness, functional efficiency and customer satisfaction.
? Cooperate with other IS teams (regional/functional/operational/BUs) for the implementation and usage of the global IS PMO application.
? Act as an internal consultant regarding program/project methodologies and planning and performing suitable controls, focused to identify project constraints for all projects globally. The regional focus is mainly to ensure proximity to project managers in the respective region to improve communication, training and to ensure availability to all project managers as well on a regional level.
Regional IS Project and Compliance Role:
? Improve IS compliance with corporate level standards, policies and controls, within the region. This includes, but not limited to Sarbanes’ Oxley, Record Retention, Data Privacy, TS16949, Disaster Recovery, and Security Standards such as ISO27001.
? Monitoring compliance and leading / supporting projects that drive compliancy improvements through standardization, consolidation and knowledge management.
? Develop and provides training, guidance and mentoring to IS members within the region directly responsible for the various IS standards, policies and controls.
? Perform standards, policy and control reviews, as well as compliancy reporting.
? Work with both internal and external peers and counterparts, share and implement “Best Practices” within the core ITIL and COBIT IT processes.
? Support continuous improvement plans focused upon compliancy gaps as well as process standardization and consolidation.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
? Minimum 6-8 years hands-on experience with one or more of the following: QAD/ ERP, Manufacturing, and IS Infrastructure systems.
? Certified professional PMP (e.g. PMP PMI)
? Excellent communication, organization, and Project Management skills.
? Familiar and possess knowledge of IT standards (ITIL and COBIT), experience in Sarbanes Oxley issues.
? Possess strong business process knowledge & operational and organizational savvy.
? Familiar and possess experience with project management principles, practices, techniques and tools (for example, MS Project or IBM Rational software).
? Experience in training and coaching people.
? Possess ability to work independently and proficiently manage multiple priorities to established deadlines.
? Possess ability to be a team player and work in harmony with others within IS and within the AP Operations organizations.
? Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills. Require a vision of the future of information technology and its impact on business process.
? Fluent in English language.
? Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin language would be an added advantage.
? Willingness to travel across the AP region
