Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Enable profitable growth
a. Deliver the best service on the planet
i. Responsible for the performance of their supply locations
1). Service
2). Cost
3). Quality
4). Reliability
5). Sustainability
ii. Design supply networks for new finished goods & technologies, prepare for success
iii. Inventory stocking strategy defined and implemented that enables upside
b. Ensure all new launches are delivered on-time, on-cost & that we prepare for success (upside)
i. Assumes project implementation leader role for AMPS / AMPS Lite & Extension projects
ii. Advocate, use and drive continuous improvement of DMC’s Product Introduction & Change Management process designed to improve speed to market for new products, structural cost improvement opportunities and prioritization of resources
c. Maintain direct contact with key customers to drive innovative service improvement designed to entrench DMC within their operations
d. Identify, scope and lead improvement opportunities designed to
i. minimize supply risk
ii. improve our competitive position
iii. reduce supply cycle-time
iv. improve sustainability profile
2. Deliver a sustained, competitive advantage for their CAC’s by driving
a. Reduce unit cost (raw materials, conversion cost, etc)
b. Driving product quality improvements
c. Drive cycle-time reduction
d. Define and/ or accelerate channel collaboration opportunities
3. Support ES&OP process
a. Balance finished good supply & demand over a one-year planning horizon
i. Responsible for planning / scheduling 0-24 months
ii. Ensure supply capabilities are proactively installed to support growth
iii. Proactively drive plant resourcing discussions driven by projected increases / decreases in demand
iv. Facilitates local resolution of regional supply / demand imbalances
b. For F&P assets, provide monthly input to finance, manufacturing (internal/external) and/or purchasing regarding projected volume variances and changes to unit costs based on material prices and contractual price reconciliations
c. Ensure that issues related to manufacturing, supply chain or financial projections are resolved or escalated resulting in an approved financial forecast
d. Develop & institutionalize business service standards and “service premiums” designed to extract appropriate value for our services. Ensure service standards are measured and achieved by all supporting functions
4. Drive continuous improvement
a. Set and deliver performance targets for their region
b. Total cost to produce / supply less AI cost
c. F&P RM, WIP & FG inventory $$
d. F&P RM, WIP & FG SMI inventory $$
e. Dual-sourced vs single-sourced
f. Benchmarked lowest cost to supply (locally competitive)
g. Service: ATP, OTS, OTD, DIF & Service / Package Complaints
h. >95% PtP / StP compliance for F&P
i. Airfreight spend
j. On-time launch of new products
k. BSS adherence & service premium collection
l. Transportation Safety Incidents

Education / Certification / Experience Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Business Management, Engineering, Business Supply Chain or other related technical degree
2. 2 years of Business / Operations experience required
3. APO/SAP R3 experience preferred
4. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred
5. Know-how of Supply Chain theory and processes, operational execution, operations needs, asset management, business and accounting principles are critical
6. Demonstrated ability to intrapreneur within a large, corporate environment
7. Effective and efficient communication and facilitation skills are needed for this job.
8. Fluency in English both writing and verbal is required.
