CISS Accountant

Accountable for effective operations for the CISS sub processes, maintaining internal controls, best in class performance, and low cost to serve with accuracy and integrity of all accounting activities.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable cash application for different types of customer payment methods
Notes Receivable - Trade customer management (UBD)
Account Reconciliation Ar, Rebate, Accruals for sales accounts, local Invoices & SAP invoices reconciliation
Customer Sales invoicing, Sales adjustments (Create, Send invoice work process) and Revenue recognition process
(domestic, export, interarea, intra-area, samples/trail, consignment different type of sales)
Miscellaneous Invoicing (trade and intercompany)
Intercompany pricing and adjustment
Subsequent compensation program accounting
Sales Account Support and Reporting
Monthly and quarterly closing following the global closing schedule
Understand tax VAT, freight, insurance, interco discount, discount, rebate accruals impacts on Invoicing
VAT automation process (SAP --> NC --> SAP)
Other tasks assigned by supervisor.


Education and Experience
Minimum Diploma, preferably in Accounting or Good understanding of Accounting
Minimum 1 year working experience in accounting area
Familiar with Revenue Recognition accounting treatment and Accounts Receivable work process
Familiar with SAP
Proficiency in Excel is expected, Business Object queries knowledge is beneficial
Understand principles of internal control and SOX compliance
knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
Working experience in foreign company is a plus
A qualified accountant with CPA is preferred


Other Key Competencies:
Good command of English, both written and verbal
Able to learn and work with remote team members, good speaking and writing communication skill
Can take reasonable pressure and is a good team player;
Attention to detail and accuracy
