Job Title: Quality System Manager

Job Objective:
a) To establish and maintain a suitable and effective Quality System, capable of meeting appropriate Quality System Registration.
b) To establish and maintain a Continuous Improvement system that satisfies customer expectations and promotes consistent business growth.
Essential Job Functions:

This position has two areas of responsibility to the company:
1. BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITY - This position will provide full Quality Systems control of products and services consistent with our customers' expectations.
The Manager will help formulate and document company Quality Policy consistent with Quality Systems Registration Guidelines (i.e. ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO/TS16949:2002 Second Edition).
The Manager will help establish and track Quality short and long-term goals consistent with the company's strategic business goals.
The Manager will be responsible for establishing tracking and follow-up of all corporate plans to continuously improve productivity and efficiency of all operations and support functions. The goal is to achieve full customer satisfaction for Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
2. SYSTEMS RESPONSIBILITY - The Director will assure that appropriate data is collected and analyzed to measure our capability to control all aspects of our business, offering the best value available to our customers. These data will be reviewed and tracked at management meetings to determine the suitability and effectiveness of our program in achieving positive business growth.
The Manager of Quality Systems will:
1. Assist management in developing the company's Quality Program, including, policies, objectives, procedures, and appraisals.
2. Assist management in development of a Continuous Improvement Program that assesses the health of the company and identifies and tracks improvements.
3. Establish and maintain a Quality Engineering and Quality Laboratory System to test and analyze product and process performance.
4. Establish a system to train and maintain the latest Quality and Continuous Improvement methods necessary to promote consistent business growth.
5. Define the necessary equipment and software to assess the capability of processes and systems to provide consistent, acceptable product on time.
6. Manage and assess the capability of Quality and Continuous Improvement personnel to assure sufficient and effective resources to fulfill all the above requirements.

Job Qualifications:
1. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Systems discipline.
2. Requires knowledge and minimum 3 years experience with Quality Systems registration requirements.
3. Strong Leadership, communication, initiative/follow through and team cooperation.
4. Requires knowledge and ability to use PC system and applicable software.
5. Ability to self pace learning including book, web-base and classroom participation.
