Major Functions:

1. Maintains and continuously improves internal controls over all aspects of the operation.

2. Ensures that US GAAP and China statutory accounts are correctly stated.

3. Provides timely and accurate management reporting, identifying and clearly communicating key financial issues and related recommendations.

4. Ensure compliance with all local reporting requirements, including FEIT, BT and VAT.

5. Assists in development of Information Systems essential to the financial function.

6. Closely supervises inventories and standard costing, ensuring the accuracy of standards. Identifies the causes of variances, and makes clear recommendations to reduce costs.

7. Manages the credit function and collections for domestic and overseas sales.

8. Develops annual capital budgets. Provides analytical (CER) support for new capital investments. Conducts post-audits of previous investments. Manages accounting for fixed assets, leases and depreciation in accordance with US GAAP and PRC requirements.

9. Manages all aspects of working capital, including cash and bank balances, vendor payments, and intercompany accounts and borrowings.

10. Coordinates with HR to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

11. Develops annual financial forecasts and rolling Latest Thinking updates.

12. Effectively supervises staff. Establishes growth objectives and evaluates performance.

13. Maintains relations with industry organizations and government departments.

Attributes:

1. Education – Bachelor in Accounting/Finance.

2. Certification – China CPA desirable.

3. Experience – 1 to 3 years management experience in a manufacturing environment

4. Language – Oral and written communication in English, as well as Chinese.

5. Systems – Solid computer skills including spreadsheets. SAP experience desirable.
