Responsibilities
- Sales of Ship Design market offerings.
- Understand the market and its global potential;
-Translate/initiate them into business development actions.
-Responsible for order intake volume and profit according to budget and agreed targets;
-Maximize sales volume and profit.
-Maximize opportunity value & scope.
-Proactively manage and drive sales/ marketing efforts.
-Communicate budget and targets to sales team.
- Contract responsibility according to SP directive
- Manage risk and compliance to Ship Power contracting directives
- Build effective sales channels and motivate sales team to world class performance
- Promote market offerings to Wärtsilä Sales
- Proactive monitor market, competition and trends
- Drive Ship Design business in customers’ interest
Requirements
Experienced in Naval Architecture Ship Designs
- Close relationships within merchant shipowning companies.
CUSTOMER BUSINESS understanding;
- maritime operations
- asset development
COMMERCIALLY ORIENTED
- experience in B2B Sales, business management and development.
-Business Degree / Naval Architect/ MSc in Engineering Maritime B2B Sales, brokering, business management and development.
-Business administrative experience; CRM and QMS
- Sales of Ship Design market offerings.
- Understand the market and its global potential;
