Summary
To ensure complete, timely and accurate reporting of all journal entries in the cost ledgers for management and statutory purposes (group, tax and PRC reporting).
To ensure complete, timely and accurate capturing and reporting of all transactions related to Fixed assets and projects.
Responsibilities
-Be responsible for the completeness, accurateness and timeliness of all journal entries in the cost ledgers.
-Be responsible for trace ability and adequate documentation of all cost entries, periodic check on cost allocations, posting required for manual journal entries, performing quantitative relation checks with the complete goods flow by the end of each month, monitoring inventory counts and reconciling differences between physical inventories and the inventories in the balance sheet and monthly review.
-Be responsible for analyzing the goods received/ invoice received accounts, detailed checking on inventory valuation, detailed intercompany analysis and posting journal entries with respect to approved non-recurring items and period end.
-Be responsible for reliable property, plant and equipment and all other assets accounting in compliance with the SAPA group accounting rules and setting up and maintaining an audit trail, including property, plant and equipment and project documentation.
-Be responsible for monitoring physical inspections and reconciling differences between physical inspections and the asset administration.
-Be responsible for managing the spare parts warehouse and workshop statistics team in delivering the team's objectives through coaching and training.
-To work closely with all departments in the organization to ensure all financial information are captured accurately in the system.
-To interact with the external auditors and provide information for the annual audit.
Qualification
-University graduate in Accountancy.
-Good command in spoken and written English.
-Microsoft office skills especial Excel
-Fast learner and be able to communicate ideas well.
-Be independent and able to work well with minimal supervision.
-Above 5 years working experience in finance area and preferably in multinational companies.
-Minimum of 2-3 years experience in costing, asset & project controlling.
-Some audit experience will be an advantage.
-ERP experience is preferred.
