Key Objective:
1 Develop and maintain financial forecast for sales and margin by sales manager/geography and related management reports for tracking. Perform ongoing analysis and summarize variances with proposed actions to GM.
2 Preparation of MUSC/site budget, subsequent analysis and report tracking vs budget.
3 Maintain all key financial policies for MUSC and ensure adherence
4 Manage pricing model.
5 Maintain monthly/quarterly reconciliation of profit per JV Distribution Agreement and other contracts.
6 Monitor and refine KPI for plant metrics, accounts receivable, inventory and others as needed including accurate standard costs be maintained.
7 Management of customer credit/accounts receivable
8 Management of supplier debit/accounts payable
9 Provide logical segmentation of business by geography/application and drive measurement and analysis of results.



Accountabilities
1 Ensure site is in compliance with environmental health and safety regulations and permit requirements
2 Overall responsibility for site/business financial controls, management reporting and financial reporting. Ensure accurate financial reports and profit distribution through reporting, analysis and interaction with the GM/BOD. Drive budgeting and forecasting process for P&L and site costs and perform related profit and cost analysis and propose corrective actions to track to forecast. Identify cost saving and profit opportunities through ongoing analysis of results/forecast. Working with MSC/UPC companies’ tax groups, maintain accurate statutory reporting and related tax payments. Develop/maintain KPI for manufacturing and support operations to meet KPI targets. Ensure safeguarding of MUSC assets by guidance and adherence to GAAP. Support BOD, General Manager and all functions in finance initiatives as needed. Manage credit, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general finance function for the business/site.
3 MUSC has been established to leverage strengths of the two companies to drive growth in the Phenolics market in Greater China. The Finance Manager will provide a key role in developing accountable targets and maintaining progress in accordance with the JVA Shareholder Agreement.
4 The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager and be the finance representative to the MUSC Business Management Team (BMT). This role will heavily support the accomplishment of business targets and forecasted results.




Qualifications / Experience required

1 B.S. in Business Administration, Finance or related field with M.B.A. or further certification necessary (CPA, CMA, etc…).
2 10+ year’s progressive experience in Planning and Analysis and management of accounting staff.
3 Background in start-up companies or JV’s helpful.
4 Ability to work across multiple disciplines and respond to rapidly changing business conditions; will be able to act as financial liaison between business and operational functions of the JV demonstrating a clear understanding of the issues/drivers of each function within the business.
5 High level English capability.
