1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

To Co-ordinate all customer, In process and supplier quality issues through a structured problem solving process.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

  

   Lead and manage Steering Function quality engineering to meet requirements of TRW BPM (Business Policy Manual) and TS16949 including internal and external audit etc, assess effectiveness and compliance of plant-wide quality systems for ongoing improvements & 3rd party, customer, AP and other audits.

  

   Develop, implement and manage quality KPI under control including customer/process/supply PPM, customer complaints, conduct yearly/quarterly/monthly/weekly review, develop corrective and preventative action, work with process, testing, production and other departments to drive improvement action executed fast and effectively;

  

   Communicate with customers, AP, Global team and internally to manage and control LPA (Layer Process Audit) process to meet and/or exceed customer expectations;

  

   Control supply quality, work with AP/Global team, conduct on-site audit for continuous improvement or prevention;

  

   Report to senior management and external party on quality performance through various channels including Manufacturing and Quality reports, Operation review, online eQOS (quality operation systems) etc.

Manage and develop Quality people from inspectors, technicians, engineers to supervisors.

3.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求

  

   Educational: Technical degree or BS Engineering degree.

  

   Experience: Technical degree with 8-10 years manufacturing experience (Steering & automotive – a plus).

  

BS Engineering Degree

Experience with Automotive quality-related activities such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, and 8D.
