1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

Senior Product Support Engineer is a position in charge of developing and updating drawing to make design more robust for production, supporting production line issue solution and supporting new product launch and so on.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责 

Cooperate with engineering participate in the development of new project, summarize product design defect as lesson learnt feedback to engineering for continuous improvement to achieve robust design;

 Continue Product Engineering department activities which consists of ensuring the latest Bill of Materials are used for production, maintains support for document control activity, coordinates activities with design responsible facilities, coordinator new product launches, and promotes Value Analysis Engineering to reduce costs.

Responsible for optimization of product design, continue improvement on production line capacity

Lead plant cross function team to evaluate feasibility of engineering change, and introduction of changes into production.

Develop and update Drawings and other required process documents.

Provide daily production support for trouble shooting.

Support program launch process.

Support Quality Engineer & Customer Quality Engineer on customer issue.

3.    KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求

 Knowledge of quality standards (IATF16949).

Strong drive to excel with high energy level.

4.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求

Educational:    Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:     Minimum 6 years working experience preferably in automotive industry.

Experience in chassis and braking systems is an added advantage.
