The purpose of the job is to assist the R&D Fluorination engineer in the construction, utilization, maintenance, of the fluorination laboratory in Changshu R&D Center, Reports to R&D Fluorination Engineer.

Arkema has a leading position, technologically and commercially, in fluorinated gases for applications such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps. In order to maintain this leading position, a laboratory dedicated to fluorination reaction has been build in the new R&D Center in Changshu. This lab will contain the equipment necessary to work on the various fluorination reaction, mainly the synthesis of F125. It also contains state-of-the-art equipment for the chemical analysis of the reaction products.

The purpose of the laboratory is mainly to improve the efficiency of the Changshu F125 plant. Also to prepare future fluorination units.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-BS in chemistry.
-Demonstrated experience in handling dangerous reactions and products.
-Safety oriented attitude.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Good English is a plus.
