Accountabilities

Represents AP BRAKING in the development of new and innovative manufacturing solutions, applicable to the China manufacturing environment. These solutions should be easy to read across Braking to other ZF Div. A manufacturing locations and should incorporate ZF Div. A global standards.

?Be responsible for planning capacity & tooling investment & assisting in new product launches at ZF Div.A Sites.

?To support customer quotation processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Activities

• Provides costing information utilizing standardized AME templates to support CQA activities

• Participates in Global TEE standardization activities

• Develops as required new electronic manufacturing solutions

• Provides capex forecast information for OPSP planning

• Maintains/tracks/reports on preproduction project planning budgets

• Provides input into plant floor layout and utilization activities

• Provides data to generate capacity planning models

• Supports Product/Process Engineering as required during safe launch activities

• Provides input as required to the management team for presentation generation

• Develops process risk assessments for new projects

• Assists in the pre-production Flow Chart, Control Plan and PFMEA generation

• Provides input into the Capex/Tooling/Cash flow sections of CEA

• Supports sourcing committee as required

• Reviews new equipment specifications to ensure compliance to TRW HSE standards

• Provides input in GDPIM/Gate reviews

Supports Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews

Qualifications / experience required

• Bachelors of Science in BRAKING/Mechanical Engineering Field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive BRAKING Manufacturing, acting as Senior or Lead role.

• Understanding of Standard BRAKING Manufacturing Processes and Chemistries

• Familiar with Poke Yoke and mistake proofing principles and applications

• Intermediate level word processing, spread sheet and presentation software required

• Certified Green belt and understands how to use DMAIC problem solving techniques

• Able to use standard statistical methods/software for data analysis

• Knowledge of Automotive practices/procedure (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Run at Rate)

Fluent in spoken and written English/Chinese
