JOB DIMENSIONS:
?The responsibility covers all new organic peroxide (OP) product development in the general area of crosslinking
?It includes specifically all solar-cell market and all shoe market, two areas of crucial importance
?It also covers all technical customer support in this technical area, in China and Asia
ACTIVITIES:
?Develop understanding of how customers use our products and what are their needs
?Provide Technical service at customers on recently commercialized products
?Identify key technical needs and challenges at customers
?Through technical contacts at customers, identify new opportunities
?Propose new R&D projects, manage the studies in the laboratories in optimal safety conditions
?Understanding of product performance through collaborative work with Global Application Development team (USA and Europe)
?Participate in development of regional BU strategies
?Plant support – analysis and problem solving
?Leads new product commercialization efforts in Organic Peroxides as Polymer crosslinking agents. Solves complex customer problems via technical support at customer trials. Develops understanding of how customers use our products and translate to process and product improvement. Collaborates with the Business Unit in Asia to develop and execute marketing strategies.Collaborates with the worldwide R&D organization, mainly located in the USA and France
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
?Engineer degree, excellent Master degree or PhD in Polymer, Material Science or related field
?Professional Experience in Polymer Processing and Applications Development would be a plus
?Experience with Organic Peroxides is a plus
?Strong interpersonal and communication skills
?Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
?International school program or experience, i.e. part of school program held in USA or France.
?Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
