Overall Purpose of Job:
This should be a broad overview of the position. Include overall scope of position and a description of authority the position has for programs/projects/operations and establishing policies.
Responsible for internal control process and implementation for the sites in China or take ad hoc projects as assigned by AP Internal Control Manager. Identify weaknesses in operation controls and risk management. Support sites to take corrective actions. Provide solutions to safeguard company assets. Sarbanes – Oxley champion for the region.
Major Responsibilities:
List major areas of responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Where appropriate, include quantifiable data; i.e., budget dollars.
1. Manage the internal control process and procedures; make sure each entity in China is fully in compliance with regulations and the company’s policies.
2. Identify weaknesses in internal control process and take corrective actions. Work with each entity on Sarbanes –Oxley testing and improve the control process. Work with internal audit team and corp. SOX team to guide each entity to close the gaps identified.
3. Initiate the policies and procedures whenever in needs, and implement them.
4. Ad-hoc projects.
Key Competencies:
Critical skills, abilities and characteristics necessary to perform job responsibilities.
Experienced in internal control and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
Possess strong analytical skills and good business sense. Familiar with today's major financial system applications and databases.
Possess strong experience in building up process and procedure based on company policy requirement, business needs and as well business optimization target.
Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, work in a dynamic environment. Ability to prioritize, handle interruptions and meet deadlines.
A good team player and leader and possess high potential to develop in a multi-national organization.
Education and Experience:
Indicate the minimum level of education and experience necessary to perform the position. Also list certifications, licenses, etc., which are required to perform the job. If appropriate, include any preferences that may not be a requirement. Note: The education and experience should be based on the job responsibilities and should not necessarily mirror the exact background of the incumbent.
Educational: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Auditing, CPA/CMA or MBA preferred.
Experience:
? At least 5 year accounting/finance working experience. Background in manufacturing enterprise and/or accounting firms is preferred.
