Key responsibilities:
-Create, document, and maintain user friendly Manufacturing documentation (Work Record Books, Work Instructions, etc.) for Production Staff;
-Create and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Materials.
-Create and maintain labor estimates for tasks, including skills required;
-Create drawings for fixture and tooling and validate the fixture functions and efficiency;
-Provide the technical documents and technical clarification for new Equipment and fixture ordering or investment;
-Create Production throughput plans that are based on continuous improvement towards lean manufacturing;
-Material control – Defining the contents and design of Assembly Kits required to support Production, Creation of Stores pick lists and fastener kits;
-Liaise with ALL site functions on project related issues. As project Core Team Member, be able to follow up all;
-Carry out investigations and reports into processes and component failure, including correspondence with Engineering and Quality departments to resolve technical enquires in a timely manner;
-Lead technical reviews / warranty investigations and assist with implementation of corrective and improvement actions with the project and production management teams;
-Provide cost estimates for changes and implement Customer Variations / Variation Orders and communicate changes to the Production and Project functions;
-Undertake technical compliance reviews against Customer specifications (clause by clause);
-Initiate and lead the manufacturing process validation and verification for new projects and Engineering changes;
-Lead and involve PFMEA and 3P workshops with other functions. Communicate with Engineering for NCR decision and clarification. Involve the NCR root cause analysis and related prevention actions follow up;
-Continuously improvement on working process and efficiency.
Basic Requirements:
-At least 5 years experience in a relevant role. Engineering and manufacturing processes, tools, IT-Systems, CAD and relevant KPI’ s, DFMA, 3P workshops, Kaizen methodology, BOS & SMB. Supply Chain requirements;
-Technical education, tooling, engineering, manufacturing engineering and engineering change management;
-Understanding of interfacing functions;
-Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical, integrated mechanical & electrical engineering is well preferred.
