JOB DIMENSIONS
Work in corporate commodity purchasing organization to fulfill the purchasing requirement of the company, with experience of assigned commodity including market intelligence, process knowledge and cost analysis
？ Supplier strategy establishment and execution
？ Lead on-time sourcing
？ Achieve cost saving OP targets with plus.
？ Achieve GCS target of 30% for total responsible purchasing spend
？ Supplier base management
ACCOUNTABILITIES
？ Drive on time sourcing activities according to due date.
？ Generate competitive sourcing strategy for Fastener/Forming commodity part family
？ Lead supplier negotiation and track cost saving performance status
？ Monitor supply chain to avoid risks from suppliers
？ Develop and implement the most beneficial sourcing practice to ensure the objectives of ZF Purchasing Policy are met.
？ Responsible of commercial contract with suppliers , ensure the benefit to ZF .
ACTIVITIES
？ Lead on time sourcing activities as per procedure, coordinate technical review across suppliers and internal cross functional teams, drive sourcing according to due date.
？ Support engineer prototype purchasing with alignment of supplier strategy
？ Supplier BO/TO release and maintain
？ Be responsible for securing continuous improvement in suppliers’ performance.
？ Responsible of AP fastener/forming part family strategy for PL Braking/Steering
？ Responsible of AP fastener/forming supplier base strategy management
？ Work with suppliers to achieve Best Practice Greenfield/Brownfield, in cost, quality, service and delivery.
？ Be accountable for the smooth and effective interaction between Purchasing and all other functions to obtain optimum service for the business.
？ Participate as the functional representative of Purchasing in multi-functional teams on development issues such as “make vs. buy” and new product introduction in close cooperation with the sites
？ Lead and organize multi-functional teams to carry out suppliers reviews.
？ Conduct /Tracking VIN system CSO performance
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
？ Bachelor degree in mechanical or business related major. Global commercial is preferred.
？ 5 + years of working experience in puchasing in automotive (preferred but not limited to) industry, knowledge of cold forming will be a plus.
？ Self-motivated and be able to multitask. Ability to prioritize and schedule daily tasks, manage time effectively.
？ Computer/software knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
？ Basic automotive quality management system knowledge is required.
？ Basic project management knowledge is required.
？ Basic metallurgy knowledge is preferred.
？ Fluent oral and written English.
