Job Description:
1. Conduct research into the structures and properties of materials, such as metals, alloys, polymers, non conductive paste, solder paste, underfill and ceramics in order to obtain information that could be used to develop new products or enhance existing ones.
2. Determine ways to strengthen or combine materials, or develop new materials with new or specific properties for use in a variety of products and applications.
3. Devise testing methods to evaluate the effects of various conditions on particular materials.
4. Plan laboratory experiments to confirm feasibility of processes and techniques used in the production of materials having special characteristics.
5. Prepare reports of materials study findings for the use of new process development.
6. Recommend materials for reliable performance in various reliability test conditions.
7. Research methods of processing, forming, and firing materials in order to develop such products as ceramic l and optical lens.
8. Study the nature, structure and physical properties of metals and their responses to applied forces and stress.
9. Test material samples for tolerance under tension, compression and shear, to determine the cause of failures
Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Degree or Masters in Material Science.
2. Min working experince 3 years in material development or selection.
3. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology and apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design a good product.
4. Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo which includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
5. Good command of English.
