职位描述：
The function of the role is to manage suppliers and integrate the purchasing function to ensure compliance with targeted requirements and objectives during PCP.
The project buyer reports to the Regional purchasing manager.
The main mission of the role are to:
? Deploy PSS MS, purchasing project management and best practices to manage program development
? Involve suppliers in program development according to PMS requirements
? Train suppliers in PCP commercial methodologies making sure that the defined standards are properly applied
? Ensure supplier selection:
o in accordance with the commodity buyer and existing supplier panel
o lead SSC according to existing procedure
o lead negotiation for local suppliers or participate in negotiations for global or key suppliers in line with defined procedures and commodity delegation
o ensure negotiations according to program targets, BC and global purchasing policies
? Ensure purchasing / supplier performance during the program phase
? Participate in relevant team meetings
? Manage milestone preparation and self assesment in line with PSS MS and best practices ensuring the involvement of the relevant people and existence of action plans to correct deviations for perimeter in charge
? Follow up and ensure deployment on time of existing action plans
? Communicate and get support from project managers to fullfill project requirements and get support on deviations from other fuctions
? Support PSQA when needed
? Ensure early involvement of the plant / regional buyers in program development and transfer to mass production according to existing best practices:
o transfer matrix review and validation
o involvement of serial buyers in supplier days
o milestone preparation and self assesment
o transfer sign off
o transfer PDCA preparation to start serial life
o program cost reduction action plan transfer
? Monitor supplier cost results in projects

Expertise/Skills:
? Purchasing experience in automotive industry
? Supplier Management Experience
? Plastic/Metal/Acoustic industrial processer
? Knowledge/experience with APQP/PPAP
? 8 years automoive industry/ 5 years purchasing experience
