Job Requirements & Skills
University or Polytechnic graduate or above in Engineering, prefer at mechanical related
More than 4 years relative working experience, have the home appliance structure design and documents control & change management experience are a plus point.
These engineers(who are working on OHC-projects needs to have practical knowledge about FDA) are only
allowed under the supervision of a senior product engineer, which has relevant experience in OHC or similar products.
Good written and spoken English.
Knowledge in Microsoft software application.
Good communication and co-ordination ability .
Analytical & logical thinking、Team player、Self-motivated.
Experienced at CAD software such as UG, Solidworks...


Key Areas of Responsibility
Participate in project team as technical leader who is fully representing engineering dept. Facilitate project team to understand design concept. Take responsible to guarantee the milestone technical delivering (Process flow, DFA/DFM, FMEA, control plan, risk management, FOR/CTQ, Jip/equipment design, line arrangement, working instruction, releasing reports, testing reports, trail run reports etc) . Lead the technical review within project team to ensure product industrial realization successfully in quality, cost, time and manufacturability.
Coordinate and lead process, manufacturing and assembly activities (prototyping, engineering building and production release etc.) for a production launch; Responsible for product and process root-cause analysis and rapid improvements for new product introduction.
Responsible for manufacturing concept and overall technical approach to all LCM (life-cycle management) listed issues and items. Before that, (Senior) product engineers give technical support to process engineers or other needed functions for onsite trouble-shooting or any other technical assistance required, e.g. FCR (field call rate).
Working together with purchasing and QA on supplier’s competence improvement, quality control either at product or process. Participating new supplier audit and technical related assessment.
Responsible to be technical contact window with CoC (Competence of Center) and local team for either NPI (new product introduction) or LCM (Life Cycle Management) activities. Review changes in Prodoc or Agile system, execution of the changes.
initiate, review, and execution of the XCP (product technical change proposals) and ECN during new product introduction and throughout lifecycle.
Responsible to be the owner to maintain correctness of BOM in Zhuhai production system; Responsible to create and maintain correctness of WI (working instruction) for operation.
Participating but not the owner of the parts evaluation of mold trial, coordinate to find problems (related with product construction) and to solve it together with peers, ensure the product has the least variation before it is in house.
Take lead on certain business & process improvement activities (Kaizen).
Responsible to keep core competence at Engineering department. The core competence are complied to but not limited as below lists.
