Position Title:
Software Engineer (珠海）
Summary
Software engineer is responsible to implement software code artifacts like classes, program procedures, scripts, SQL queries based on developed design solutions utilizing Java and structure procedural languages with high quality in scheduled timeframe and with minimal direction. It should deep understand and follow to object-oriented programming concepts. Software developer may play system architect role in the project team.
Responsibilities:
-Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements presented in FRS
-Implementing software units utilizing requirements, use case diagrams, and other UML design artifacts
-Collaborating with other developers, QA engineers, technical writers and system architects on implementation of the software units
-Developing and performing required unit and integration tests to deliver quality software to QA and the customer
-Developing robust API documentation
-Work as part of a team implementing design solutions
-Mentoring and developing junior developers while contributing significantly to the development of the system
Knowledge & Skills
-Knowledge of main principles and paradigms of the Object-Oriented Programming
-Basic knowledge of Java and Java API (Java Foundation Classes)
-Knowledge of the following enterprise technologies/tools/frameworks: Servlets, JSP, HTML, XML, JDBC
-Knowledge of UML: ability to read and understand UML diagrams
-Basic knowledge of the SQL language
-Basic knowledge of common design patterns
-Knowledge of English language to read and understand project documents
Skills
-Strong ability to implement designed solution with minimal direction
-Ability to write, test, and optimize SQL queries
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Strong ability to work in the project team
Experience
-A minimum of an year object-oriented development experience with a minimum of 3 months in Java development
-A minimum of 3 months of J2EE Development with one or more enterprise software applications which utilize application servers such as Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic, or JBoss and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
-A minimum of 3 months experience in requirements analysis, use case analysis
-A minimum of 3 months unit test development experience
-A minimum of 3 months experience utilizing a configuration management system
-A minimum of 3 months experience with version control system like CVS, VSS, etc.
