职位描述（Job Descriptions）
Responsibility:
(1) Build and sustain a network of suppliers in accordance to relevant business requirement by gathering market and competitor supply intelligence to extend sourcing scope and depth.
(2) Understand the economy, govt policy, industrial supply movement and component cost structure and other financial trend and indicators to proactively prevent risk and negative impact to the business.
(3) Work closely with legal to protect Philips IPR and other interests, translate business requirement into contract and agreement to implement with the suppliers.
(4) Maintain product prices and take business negotiation as appropriate to control the spends of finished goods purchasing.
(5) Manage strategic supplier relationship, solve problems and take improvement actions utilizing appropriate supplier performance measures.
(6) Support in technical cost down .
(7) Drive value engineering activities with suppliers and relevant functions as a lead in the Purchasing team.
(8) Drive value sourcing and update requestors on potential sources, product solutions and savings opportunities to support business ambitions.
(9) Manage the suppliers to support the product creation process together with relevant functions such as project, quality and logistics.
(10) Manage a cross functional team in driving performance improvement of suppliers & other initiatives deployed by corporate purchasing.


Requirement:
1.Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Engineering or other related discipline.
2.Min 5 years’ initial purchasing and sourcing experience.
3.In depth knowledge and understanding of relevant products with a strong sense of major component and industrial market trend.
4.Experience in dealing with suppliers in Asia Pacific especially China.
5.Confident to communicate with all levels/ different cultural backgrounds.
6.Strong knowledge in project management would be an advantage.
7.Market focus and strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills.
8.Good relationship and people handling skills.
