General Purpose:

Responsible for supporting, developing, implementing and managing account strategies in order to provide the business with optimal quality, pricing & delivery performance. P&L responsibility for managing strategic accounts and will establish and maintain good strategic customer relationships in order to achieve maximum advantage for the company with the delivery of a quality product to its customers.



Principle Accountabilities:

· Define the goals in areas of responsibility for short and long term performance. Oversee implementation of goals so that Flextronics can continue to be best in class.

· Optimize the utilization of resources to maximize global strategies and policies to enhance customer satisfaction.

· Facilitate and enhance cross-functional relationship to maximize customer satisfaction criteria and operational performance.

· Be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships to create and sustain product demand

· Define strategies and policies to maximize performance and develop overall organization awareness of same

· Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce


Requirement:



Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred. Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of sales/account management experience.


Demonstrates expert operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flextronics and related business. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, interest and discounts. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.



Impacts long-term (annual) operational success of the function. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities and have serious impact on profitability. Executes and provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for the organization. Demonstrates commitment to implement initiatives.



Work Environment:

The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
