Assist the Revenue Management Department by performing the following:
1. Yield manages occupancy and ADR daily both short term and long term to maximize profitability; identify distressed
periods and initiate recovery and contingency plans.
2.Understand the needs of different market segments (e.g. Group business, business travel, leisure/FIT travel,
wholesale/internet, etc.) and work effectively with Hotel, Convention Sales/Operations Division to develop strategic programs
as appropriate to maximize hotel's profitability.
3.Participate in planning and developing programs for attracting and retaining customers, based on short and long term
analysis of market conditions and hotel needs.
4.Understand and effectively utilize computerized operational systems. Implement and update IT systems as needed. Manage
efficiency of all Revenue Management Software.
5.Focus on developing new, cost effective room distribution channels.
6.Work to maximize room yield/value through control, rooms availability and training for up-selling
7.Attend Venetian Business Revenue meetings to facilitate efficiency and proper strategic planning with regards to sales group
contracts.
8.Work closely with Hotel, Convention and Sales team to implement revenue recovery programs when appropriate--FIT, casino,
internet, telemarketing programs.
9.Develop and analyze required reports and statistics for driving Revenue and Profitability.
