Responsibilities

1. Direct oversight of an Investigations, DLP, eDiscovery, and forensic collection operations

2. Ensure policies and process management techniques that client data is handled quickly and efficiently resulting in repeatable quality improvements and on-time deliverables

3. Implement, update and maintain operational best practices and standard operating procedures in collaboration with corporate executives and management, information technology, legal, outside counsel, outside consultants, and other cyber security professionals

4. Perform and supervise forensic analysis

5. Preserve, harvest, and process electronic data according to the organization’s policies and practices

6. Produce high quality oral and written product presenting complex technical matters clearly and concisely

7. Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to malware security, vulnerabilities, and issues of cyber security and preparedness.

8. Assist in the development and delivery of malware security awareness communications

9. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all areas of performance

10. Form and articulate expert opinions based on analysis

11. Draft and conduct peer review of expert reports, affidavits, and other expert testimony as needed

12. Consult with Legal, Compliance, Physical Security regarding case status and direction

13. Maintain proficiency with industry standard tools and practices

14. Develop and broaden forensic skills through training and research

15. Identify additional training opportunities for digital forensic staff to ensure appropriate development of skills and continued innovation

16. Ability to lead by example, sustain a high level of professionalism in all areas of performance and ensure same level of professionalism is maintained by staff under direct supervision

Other Requirements

1. Experience in configured and maintaining DLP technologies required.

5. Perform highly detailed work.

6. Professional certification associated with digital forensics and/or eDiscovery tools desired.

7. Proficiency with forensic techniques and the most commonly used forensic toolsets, such as dtSearch, EnCase, and FTK Suite, desired.

8. Proficient with computer system hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.

9. Proficient with Windows, Macintosh, and Linux Operating Systems.

10. Strong work ethic.

11. Strong writing and communication skills.

12. Well-developed analytic, qualitative, and quantitative reasoning skills.
