职位描述
Responsibility: Contribute to the supply strategy work based on global situation. Drive the strategy-to-action work and perform supply research and analysis. Lead the strategic purchasing team and activities in localization and selected knowledge area (machining, casting, steel structures and welding)
Key Tasks:
1. Contribute to the supply strategy work based on global situation to closely support management and sourcing teams in the company’s strategic sourcing planning.
2. Drive the systematic supplier strategy-to-action work.
3. Support company management with decision making in sourcing and localization decisions
4. Develop and perform localization plan to meet strategic business objectives
5. Plan and execute supplier research with supplier development team
6. Collect, store, and analyze supplier market information relevant for the company business, with focus on general sourcing market developments, and competition.
7. Identify and advice on strategic sourcing risks.
8. Plan and execute research within own expertise area (e.g.: machining, castings, welding and steel structures and so on)
9. Proactively support management and other colleagues in the decisions making.
10. Plan and execute portfolio localization plan with Corporate Sourcing organization & engineering team, Company SDE team
11. Project management for localization activities, progress report, risk mitigation and elimination
12. Make and execute plans how to proactively improve Supplier performance
13. Conduct vendor benchmark and performance review, optimize supplier base.
14. Other ad hoc tasks assigned by top management.
15. Make and plans and executes on worst performing suppliers closures
Qualification:
1) Bachelor’s degree in engineering related subject
2) At least 8 years’ sourcing or PMC related function experience
3) Decisiveness and action orientation
4) Business and Customer focus
5) Planning and target setting
6) Developing self and others
7) Communication
8) Situational and cultural sensitivity
9) Solid knowledge on fabrication parts/component sourcing, can understand drawing with CAD or SolidWord.
10) Project management and ERP usage would be preferred
11) Familiar with marine engine manufacturing and BOM is a plus.
12) Excellent knowledge on casting, machining and/or welding and material.
13) Can use English as a working language.
