Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Data Warehouse Support Engineer is to triage and resolve data warehouse support issues and to complete data warehouse minor enhancements primarily for Singapore and Las Vegas.


Responsibilities:
? Triage and support data warehouse issues
o Evaluate if an issue is level 1, 2 or 3
o Analyze and resolve level 1 and 2 issues
o Keep internal customers abreast of resolution status/timeline
o Document changes and root cause
o Perform any preventative actions

? Perform proactive maintenance activities to deliver against data warehouse service level agreements

? Deliver minor data warehouse enhancements
o Understand and document user requirements or user stories/conditions of acceptance
o Develop against the user requirements on time and on budget, and unit test end product
o Document the technical spec, and work with the Project Coordinator to build and maintain the data dictionary

? Other duties as directed by management


Qualifications and Requirements:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience, required
? Minimum 4+ years’ experience with Microsoft tools for (1) extract-transform-load, (2) cube building, (3) report building, and (4) dashboard building
? Must have development and administrative experience with SQL Server
? Experience with SharePoint and ASP.NET a plus.
? Willingness to travel for and work in Macau, Singapore or Las Vegas for extended periods of time
? Willingness to work evenings and weekends if projects or support issues require
? Organized and detail-oriented; ability to complete multiple tasks and proactively impact the business
? Ability to distill, communicate and document technical concepts with both technical and non-technical team
