Responsibility:

1. Reliability and performance improvement on DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system and other assigned area

a.To develop and implement precise maintenance plan and quality control plan to ensure best reliability performance with optimal cost to contribute overall plant target;

b.To lead root causes analysis and trouble shooting for DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system to ensure improvement are implemented effectively;

c.To lead&supervise routine/non-routine maintenance activities closely and maintain critical history and reliability data for improvement;

d.To set up and optimize spare parts inventory/sourcing for DCS/PLC.

2.Knowledge management

a.To provide technical coach, training and consultation over site on DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system maintenance and reliable operation

b.To develop work instruction or maintenance standing operating procedure (SOP)

c.To be experts and SPA in DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system maintenance& reliability issue to ensure best practices and new reliability improvement technology from network/vendor are implemented effective cross the site to improve plant reliability, safety and cost efficiency

3. Safety and integrity management

a.To execute the assigned work order which includes routine inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, overhaul and plant turnaround activities, according to related maintenance procedures and Work Instruction and I&E Leader's instruction

b.To lead assigned maintenance task to ensure work are executed safely

c.To work with and supervise contractors to perform assigned maintenance work to meet our safety requirement and technical specification

d.To report any unsafe condition, potential environmental problem, any opportunities to improve in his/her work area based on his/her knowledge, experience and lesson learnt

e.To develop lump sum package for TAR tasks according to equipment /system specification

f.To develop quality control plan for assigned equipment overhaul plan

Requirement:

1.Educational background:

University graduated, majored in automation Engineering, or equivalent discipline.

2.Requires at least 5 years of experience in DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system

a.Has rich working experience and demonstrated strong understanding in DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system etc.

b. Skillful application of configuration/ diagnosis technique used on DCS PLC CCC CMS etc. automation system

c.Basic knowledge and application on field instrument and automated valves

d.Working knowledge and experience on assurance of engineering integrity, like use of technical standard and assurance process, assessment and mitigation of risk, assurance of competency of personnel etc.

e.Working knowledge and skill on maintenance system and process, like preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability centered maintenance, root cause failure analysis, equipment specific maintenance plan etc.

BP Zhuhai Chemical Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of BP 85% and Zhuhai Fuhua Group 15% (BPZ) BPZ manufactures Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA). BPZ phase I, 350,000 tonne PTA plant investment, was completed successfully in Q1 2003. The phase I investment reaches US$360m. BPZ produces high quality PTA for the China market and uses BP’s advanced X technology in PTA industry. The plant is the most advanced of its kind in China.

A phase II project to expand PTA production to 900,000 tonnes more per annum using BP’s most advanced SOX production technology is under construction now and was put into production in Q4 2007 successfully. The phase II investment in BPZ is over US$300m.

BPZ’s HSE goals are “no accidents, no harm to people and no damage the environment”. There is a strong focus on developing staff HSE capability and competencies within the JV. BP’s HSE management practices and standards have been adopted by BPZ. The JV continues to develop a positive HSE culture, which focuses on promoting “every individual taking responsibility for safety at work”.
