This role will support a product family to achieve financial and strategic objectives. This role will be focused on the day-to-day tasks of managing product development projects, product line extentions, quality issues, inventory reviews and coordination with R&D and Operations.
Responsibility:
Overall Responsibility:
Supporting Product Line Manager on day to day tasks to maintain the basic support to sales team and cooridnation with R&D and Ops.
Supporting on project management:
1. PRD development under PM's supervision
2. PLM system maintance on Sales & Marketing part
3. Cooordinate with R&D/Ops to make sure project is on schedule

Product lanch documentation development:
1. Create marketing literatures/Installation Instructions under PM's coaching
2. Product launch technical material package lanch coordination: Spec, Test report,drawings etc
3. Develop Ordering Guide, Product presentationswhere needed
4. Develop product training materials, product installation videos with coordination with related functions.

Product extentions:
1. New part number creation coordination, follow up
2. Manage the product extension request and rationalize product line part number extention

Operations metrics follow up / management:
1. Review product line inventory regularly to achieve inventory turn target
2. Quality issues management, follow up
3. Delivery issues cooridation, review delivery metric with Ops
4. Slow moving inventory review
5. S&OP data collection from sales team

Product samples coordination:
1. Responsible for sample request from sales team / cross region interco with coordination with Ops, R&D
2. Build up fibered sample for promotions / show rooms

Market intellegence info support:
1. Support on competition info searching
2. Search market data (market size, market trend etc) where needed

Qualifications:
Minimum four year degree with a background in engineering or business.
Background in fiber optic products and installations preferred.
This person will need to have the ability to quickly learn, adapt to changing environments, and quickly comprehend business challenges.
