职位描述
Role Summary/Purpose:
? Provide technical application support of TE xEV Products in the development and implementation of customer applications.
? Assist sales and marketing staff in assessing potential application of TE products to meet customer needs and preparing/reviewing detailed product specifications. Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
? Facilitate communication between internal and external customers.
? Study HV system trends and needs to support product line management establishing clear xEV product roadmaps.
? Support RFQ process, including concept and cost estimation reviews.
? Support the engineering team during the development process of new product concepts in conjunction with the customer to promote alignment to the TE xEV product strategy.
? Coordination of pre-development feasibility & risk assessment studies for new opportunities.
? Participate in identification and competitive benchmarking of new xEV applications.
? Provide Marcom support, i.e. technical presentations at symposiums or trade shows, articles for technical magazines, etc.
? Build up electrical system competency for xEV architectures
o Providing training sessions for engineering team
o Support FMEA and Risk Assessment sessions
Qualification Requirements:
? Customer oriented, capable to liaise with customers on technical matters.
? Ability to work well with engineering, project management, quality, and purchasing functions of TE internal departments and major automotive customers.
Special knowhow and experience in high power and high voltage applications is required.
? Electrical systems degree or equivalent.
? Advanced knowledge about electrical vehicle architectures, alternative power technology designs.
? Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & written).
? Excellent team player.
? Professional, structured, autonomous, reliable and creative work style.
? Willingness to travel
? Fluent English language skills.
? Electronics know how a plus, but not a requirement.
