Location: Conrad Sands Cotai Central
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To facilitate in conjunction with departmental managers and designated trainers, the training of their team members on company and departmental procedures, service standards, functional and technical skills, communication and interactive skills and supervisory skills.
2. To conduct “needs analysis” where required and analyze training needs through the study of customer comments and complaints, team member feedback and requests, etc.
3. To assist coordinating all training courses for Conrad team members as well as their certification. To ensure that all team member training, documentation and testing is completed in the required timeframe. Track attendance for training classes; prepare and send invitations; send reminders and confirmation.
4. To select, train and certify designated trainers through running train-the trainer sessions (DTT).
5. To constantly develop, review, refine and refresh manuals and other training materials.
6. Produce and distribute a quarterly training calendar and follow up to ensure execution.
7. To assist monitor guests satisfaction surveys (SALT) and drive improvement actions through the SALT Committee.
8. To assist setting up a Quality Improvement Team to analyze and solve problems based on guests’ satisfaction comments through Continuous Improvement team feedback, and SALT.
9. To organize the monthly Employee Rally and Leaders meeting for Conrad.
10. Maintain and update the Training and Development Resource Centre.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Diploma in Human Resources or Related Field preferred or Certificate in Train-the-Trainer.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Two years classroom training/facilitation experience.
Experience in curriculum development.
Experience in using Microsoft software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Adult Education principles and practices.
Knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation techniques.
Knowledge of classroom management best practices and learning styles.
SKILLS / ABILITIES / PRESENCE
Ability to design, develop and deliver a range of learning and development programs.
Read, write, speak and understand Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and English.
Proven organizational planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.
Be willing to work any day and any shift.
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Have a well groomed, professional appearance.
