ROLE:
This position is responsible to assist with the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting activities,maintaining financial records accurately in the accounting system with integrity while in compliance with Lubrizol policies,US and PRC general accounting standards;regulatory authorities requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Ensure accuracy of financial records in accounting system and in compliance with PRC and US general accounting standards requirements
2. Perform daily general accounting duties including preparation of general journal vouches, SAP Purchase Order release, maintenance of chart of accounts etc., ensuring in compliance of various Lubrizol policies and guidelines in operating day-to-day accounting activities
3.Perform and monitor monthly accounting close activities to ensure on time submission of Hyperion reporting,and various financial reporting packages
4. Prepare and co-ordinate monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations,and manage general ledger accounts and open accounts clearing
5.Prepare financial analysis report for Finance Manager review
6. Review and verify accounting vouchers and follow up any outstanding matters after closing review by Finance Manager
7.Monitor work of direct reports to ensure accounting work fully in compliance with LZ accounting policies, US GAAP, as well as local statutory requirements.
8. Manage,set goals and develop two subordinates to improve work processes efficiency
9. Ensure compliance with SAFE,Tax regulations and Import & Export regulations etc.
10.Assist Finance Manager in annual planning and budgeting process.
11.Serve as a backup person to the Fixed Asset Accountant on deprecation run and capital projects settlement in the accounting system etc. tasks
12.Provide support to external and internal processes and prepare audit schedules
13. Other assignments as assigned

REQUIREMENTS (education,experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
1. Bachelor degree.Qualification in CICPA,ACCA or ICMA is a plus.
2. 5-6 years' relevant experience in accounting with 3+years in a manufacturing environment
3. A strong team player with good inter-personal and communication skills
4.Good knowledge of PRC and US GAAP and China taxation
5. Exposure to ERP systems,SAP and Hyperion experiences is a plus
6. Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
7. High integrity and strong ethical values
