Duties:
1. Partner with student in study:
A. Provide a total of 12 (Bachelor program) to 20 hours (Master program) of one to one tutorial to individual students within the whole study period;
B. Provide advice to student in preparing of their assignments, projects and dissertation;
C. Preliminary checking of student work of submission with comments
D. Help student to solve his/her personal problems in study subject to the regulations of the university;
E. Assist student in applying for module exemption’
F. Assist student in uploading to the university website;
G. Assist student in e-library and referencing
H. Assist student in contacting lecturers for enquiries;
I. Assist student in contacting administration department and academic department of MEC International for documentation
J. Provide advice to student during dissertation or project writing
K. Co-ordination of student for various activities and visits
L. Co-ordination with MEC staff for absence or leave
2. Partner with student for program details:
Personal Service Officer will provide face to face meeting with all new students and will provide them with all program information required in the study, including aim and objective of the program, admission requirements, modules studied, lecturers, notes and books, assessments and all registration details. Student will be provided with factual information of the study to ensure that they are selecting the right program.
Personal Service Officers are holders of Master degree or above to be qualified for the post of partner with students.
