Principal Accountabilities:
The Assistant IT Audit Manager will:
Perform IT Compliance Reviews and other audit testing in the assigned geographic region and some international travel up to 50% total travel.
Attend internal or external training sessions to improve the audit /management skills and knowledge of the company’s business.
Interact with relevant Company’s management to prepare the scoping draft of the planned audits.
Lead IT audit assignments as instructed by the Manager/ Senior Manager/ Senior Director including designing and performing integrated Operations/Finance & IT audits and data analytics.
Assist in preparation of risk assessments, notify audited locations and assist in preparation of all preliminary, draft and final reports
Provide evidential support for all report recommendations.
Identify and document IT controls or lack thereof to protect assets from loss, evaluate areas of risk and detect and prevent fraud
Prepare adequate workpapers as required by type of audit
Prepare recommendations for consideration or implementation considering materiality, pertinence to audit and documentary evidence
Stay abreast of laws and other regulatory issues that impact corporate governance and control
Stay abreast of relevant IT developments, implementations and standards in security and governance, as well as the relevant Corporate policies.
?Interact with all levels of management at audited sites and at the regional level. Interact as required with external auditors
?Manage all aspects of IT audits in the absence of the Manager/ Senior Manager/ Director.
Job Requirements *
?Work experience: 3+ year with a primary IT audit and reporting responsibility – preferably within a professional environment (e.g. Big Four Audit Firms) and capacity. Those with a mix of other IT duties (e.g. IT operations, security administration and/or compliance-related) but demonstrating a good foundation of audit will also be considered.
?Areas of Knowledge: IT Auditing, Operations, Systems Administration and/or Compliance.
?College Degree: IT / Computer Science
?Languages: strong written and verbal skills in English and, desirable, another language used in the region of assignment.
?Qualifications: CISA with CPA or equivalent preferred, internal audit experience preferred.
?IT skills: Adequate knowledge of office automation applications like Microsoft Office and ERP systems (BaaN IV and V, Oracle Financials, SAP, Infimacs, Fourth Shift), Operating systems (Windows, Unix) a plus. Knowledge and experience using data analysis tools (ACL) will be an advantage. Principal Accountabilities:
