JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: QA Engineer

Reports To: QA Manager

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

The scope of this position will be mainly focus on:

？ Be responsible for the quality of particular project introduction from prototype stage to mass production stage

？ Lead the responsibility of quality even mass production stage of the new products introduced.

The details of the position include at least but not limited as below:

？ Work with UK quality colleagues and new product cross function team members.

？ Join in the design review with design team on product structures via DFMEA etc.

？ Take the assembly quality responsibility for prototype building, small volume line trial run, summarize quality reports and conduct quality review with team.

？ Solve the quality issues by using data driving skills, KT logics, QC tools and good presentation as output is necessary and basic SOLIDWORK sketch proposal is a plus.

？ Application of six sigma tools should be properly used to make sure the world class quality.

？ Training the PQA and production personnel on quality sense and product information.

？ Draft NPI quality documentation and review with team for Control plan, gauge plan, Quality SOP, Component SOP etc. and keep the timing till approved.

？ Be responsible for the quality of component manufacturing process, including crimping, insert molding, punching, etc. Ensure the component quality could reach the goal in line with the introduction plan of new project.

？ Join in the supplier audits to monitor the improvement of component quality in line with project plan.

？ Review and control the progress of gauges introduction for application of both assembly and components so as to make sure good gauges are available on time. Enough verification including GR&R, trial runs are essential before introducing any new gauges.

？ Keep monitoring the quality level based on the trials and keep updating the action plan for continuous quality improvement.

？ Revise and monitor the update of the quality documentation for whole quality of new project as standardization result of action plan.

？ Responsible for in-process quality control, ensuring that all established processes, procedures are in-line with the established Integrated Quality Management Systems.

？ Conduct internal audit to make sure the quality system is running according to the requirements.

？ Collect and analyze statistical process control data for process and product performance reporting and improvement so as to make corrective and preventive actions where appropriate to guarantee 'the highest quality performance.

？ Support customer service department to deal with product quality complaints including international product quality complaints and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.

？ Perform any other duties as assigned by the next level management.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

机电或自动化专业，大专以上学历。

3~5年质量工程师工作经验。

组装制造业优先。

具备基本的英语沟通能力（听说读写）。

？ Require an accredited B.S. degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Electric Engineering.

？ 3 or more years of related experience, strong knowledge in molding, metal parts, assembly process. Experience in small household appliance is a plus.

？ Familiar with supplier quality management skills and experience is a plus.

？ Knowledge in engineering design, GD&T, tolerance analysis skill would a plus.

？ Candidate must be responsible, proactive, hard working, quick in thinking, work engaged, fast learn and easy to adapt to new way of working.

？ Must be enthusiastic for new challenges and have a 'can do' attitude.

？ Good logical sense and analytical mind set. Able to drive cross functional team to achieve results, the sense of result-orientation is a plus.

？ Right understanding on quality concept and strong critical-thinking skills.

？ Good understanding of quality system, auditing, quality engineering and control tools.

？ Knowledge of data-driving and recognized problem solving tools is essential.

？ Statistical knowledge is a must, Six Sigma green belt qualification would be an advantage.

？ Knowledge and practice on FMEA, MSA, SPC and process capability assessment;

？ Work independently and under pressure, good interpersonal skills

？ Intermediate quality engineer certified by the national certification test is a plus;

？ Process Product & Quality System Auditing skills.

？ Familiar with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001. Certified auditor for ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 (preferred).

？ Fluent English reading/writing/oral skills.

？ Familiar with MS Office software, MINITAB or SSPS, SOLIDWORK software.
