ACCOUNTABILITY:
This HR Generalist (6-month contractor) is accountable to support Strategic HR Partners in designing and implementing initiatives related to change management, talent management, culture deployment, employee engagement to enable business and function to drive growth. This role will also provide local HR services, support and guidance to managers and employees for China commercial offices, including but not limited to onboarding, compensation management, employee relations, exit management, etc. and supporting Site HR Partners to ensure compliance with local regulations, supporting the delivery of global / regional / local HR initiatives in the organization to enable Lubrizol business strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide employee life cycle support to Lubrizol’s China commercial offices (i.e. site specific onboarding activities, compensation adjustment, job changes, government subsidy application, leaving the company)
-Support Strategic HR Partners in developing and implementing initiatives related to but not limited to change management, employee engagement, culture deployment, talent management, etc.
-Assist Strategic HR Partners in the identification of training needs and development of training materials, support the implementation of country/site-specific learning programs
-Support Site HR Partner in designing and implementing Greater China employee wellbeing campaign, employee engagement and recognition activities
-Support Site HR Partners in creation, implementation, and updating local HR policy, guideline and procedures, to ensure compliance with government regulations
-Partner with LS peers, COE and HR Partner to consult manager and employee on HR policy and process
-Manage country specific paper / manual compliance reporting
-Maintain employee records (electronic and / or physical) as needed based on company policies and according to country / local laws
-Participate in and support HR projects as required
-Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
-Bachelor’s degree
-Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in Human Resources
-Overall knowledge of HR function including HR regulations, principles, policies and procedures and master of consultative skills to advise others in these areas
-Good communication and problem solving skills
-Holds high standards in work quality with result-driven mindset
-Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
-Proficient in written and verbal English
