Sr. TSM - Senior Technical Supply Manager
Major responsibilities
1) Facilitate Sourcing Manager to establish the sourcing strategy for commodities in the following four categories, MECH ID, PACKAGING, ELECTRICAL, and ELECTRO-MECHANICAL. Once a sourcing strategy has been developed, the TSM will communicate, monitor and aggressively manage business unit compliance with the strategy. The TSM will also establish working relationships with cross-functional team (Engineering, compliance, Quality, Factory Management, etc..) for WDS and IEB programs, bringing a strategic sourcing perspective to all key processes.
2) Contract Negotiation, build up and maintain overall supplier & internal customer relationship.
TSM will associate with Sourcing Manager to negotiate the Microsoft NDA/CPA… all the contract with our strategic suppliers if it is needed. Need to ensure the best term and conditions for Microsoft; achieve the best interest for Microsoft through negotiation. The TSM also need to team up cross-functional team, such as engineering, NPI, SQE, factory management team… to ensure product delivery/quality from E2E.
3) Monitor and report the local performance of suppliers. Supplier performance will be tracked, reported and managed by the TSM. Formal and informal review procedures will be developed to provide feedback to suppliers and ensure that supplier performance issues are quickly addressed.
4) Measure, track & report supply chain performance within each spend category. TSM will identify sources of data for required performance metrics, create a process to collect the data, and champion the actual collection efforts. Each quarter, the TSM will report to the Supply Management performance data for the TSM assigned commodities. The TSM will conduct and support the supplier business review in region.
5) Support Supplier Development and Qualifications in Region.
The TSM will team up cross-functional teams to monitor and track down all the assigned commodity qualification until closure and ramp up in time for the demand.
6) Assure Continuity of Supply and 0 Excess Management
The TSM will fully manage materials supply status for their owned commodity from project MP till EOL. Tie up with Tier One materials management team and Redmond category PM & planning team closely to assure the Continuity Of Supply and ensure 0 excess when project is EOL.
7) Support to resolve qualification/spec alignment/ramp up issue to get commodity on board in timely in order to have smooth ramp up
8) Establish Optimal process for each step of the production process

- Professional experiences in Project management, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management of Electronics, Electronics Mechanical, and Mechanical Parts.
- CPM or CPSM certifications. (As +)
- 6-Sigma certifications. (As +)
- Superior Project/Timeline (Consumer Electronics Integrated Project Management) adherence experiences.
- Manufacturing thru-put and capacity analysis skillset.
Education/Other Requirements
- Advanced engineering degrees or equivalent experiences.
- Must be an ENGINEERING/PROCESS PROFESSIONAL with strong Project Management & Supply Chain Management acumen skills.
- Quick learner of Microsoft systems and processes. Agile & Adaptable.
High energy and passion for working in a dynamic environment and providing new approaches to strategic sourcing and supply base management
Team player with deep cross-group collaboration and project management skills, with experience developing efficient work plans for complex projects involving many groups, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
