ABOUT THE POSITION

    

    

This position reports to Materials planning manager in Asia and is responsible for material planning and procurement related functions within the materials operations including but not limited to - material forecasting, material sample and production capacity scheduling, material planning, will coordinate efforts & communicate with FGVs, RMVs, cross functional team on all materials planning & OTP related issues, evaluating materials delivery performance, coordinate regular material planning meetings with FGVs and RMVs. Assisting materials planning manager and team in tracking delivery, performance comparison and planning suggestion.

    

    

?This position will be located in Zhuhai, China.

    

    

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

• Maintain a timely, accurate, stable flow of materials related data to respective internal and external counterparts, which including PDM RM data such as lead time, MOQ etc, also including RM tracking report, OTP report, rolling prebuild, excess materials report, and RM D/N coordination. etc. Work closely with FGVs/RMVs to foresee delays before they occur and address where possible solutions while keeping all stakeholders in the loop on scope and impact.
• Coordinate with PDX to check and ensure raw material forecast system is running smoothly and issue forecast to raw material vendors monthly.   Must be detail-oriented when facing respective materials related challenges, address issues with a sense of urgency, and arrive at resolutions in a timely manner to materials planning manager.
• Provide suggestions on materials /color consolidation/localization/migration, based on production SKU volume and BSC performance management for improving RM planning agility. Carry out the details of this Job Description not only in word but spirit and action. Coordinate regular meetings with the FGVs material team and RMVs to strengthen the business relationship.

YOU HAVE?

    

• Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years’ experience in footwear industry, related experience in production/ material planning is preferred, Broad based supply chain understanding Planning, Procurement, Logistics, PLM.
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English, written and verbal. Proficient with standard MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must have the ability to adapt to changing business needs and shifting priorities. Know related footwear professional knowledge and end use.
