KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  

• Responsible for product new variant development.

• Responsible for product improvement and implementation.      

• Responsible for technical support to production.

• Ability to run design reviews and evaluate the integrity/robustness of design concepts.

• Able to compile a qualification test matrix for new product and design changes.

• Able to design robust plastic mouldings and metal pressings for high volume manufacture at lowest cost.

• Work on ECN’s for implementation of changes

• Able to Work with other functional teams.

      

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE  

• BSC Hons in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.

• 5+ year experience in new product development within a high volume manufacturing industry.

• Proven ability to take overall responsibility in design and troubleshooting.

• Able to work under pressure and challenge.

• Working experience in international company is preferred.

  KNOWLEDGE:

• Engineering background

• Understand the material property of plastic and metal.

• Understand the moulding/pressing process.

  SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting.

• Proficient in 3D CAD, solidworks is preferred.

                          

• Familiar with simulation and FEA tools is preferred.

• Good communication skill.

• Proficient English in both written and verbal is preferred.
