As a Formulator/Project Lead, your innovations will impact our future. Your primary focus will be providing fundamental research and product development for refrigeration lubricants and managing the Refrigeration Oil Lab at our facility in China.

Responsibilities

? Provide technical support to commercial team through product development efforts and customer-directed research programs.

? Design, conduct, and document product development on new refrigeration lubricants

? Perform independent research in a multidisciplinary environment on refrigeration issues

? Actively participate in project review meetings for refrigeration

? Provide technical support to sales, customers, and partners as needed

? Initiate and organize laboratory work to meet multiple assignments and objectives

? Participate in industry conferences and symposiums as required by the management team

? Develop a good understanding of the intellectual property landscape and track pertinent literature

? Ability to maintain an accurate clear legal record of experimental results and provide written summaries and interpretation of results

? Interpret and communicate results to colleagues, sponsors and customers

? Build relationships with the global commercial and technical teams

? Anticipate, determine, and understand customers’ unmet needs and market trends and apply product technologies to satisfy those requirements

? Understand and comply with all applicable internal corporate and external health, safety and environmental policies; act consistently with corporate standards of integrity

职位要求：

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

? Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred and 5-10 years of experience in lubricants (refrigeration lubricants preferred)

? M.S. in Chemistry required and 10-20 years of experience in lubricants (refrigeration lubricants preferred)

? Fluent in English both written and verbal

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

? Knowledge of refrigeration lubricant formulations and refrigeration lubricant technologies through experience on the bench

? Experience with HVAC system OEM’s and/or key raw material suppliers

? Knowledge and experience of tribology and tribological testing

? Thermodynamic modeling of gas/liquid refrigeration systems

? Phase behavior, equations of state and their practical application

? Capable of independent action; takes initiative and leads decisively.

? Excellent decision making, problem solving skills, and the ability to interpret and translate experimental results into customer needs

? Ability to set objectives and identify resources/processes to accomplish goals
