Responsibilities:

1. Support the F&M manager by reviewing of design drawings and supports the F&M team on delivery of the new facility project, while interacting with internal/external project teams and stakeholders on construction & milestones scope, expectation of quality, project targets and all other key elements in the project;

2. Interacts daily with local construction teams; Supervises the external firms work execution against contract terms and industry standards;

3. Ensure document collection and management of the constructed facility and all equipment not limited to drawings, instruction manuals, test & maintenance procedures as well as all other applicable documentation during construction and commission of the project;

3. Takes the lead through engineering excellence in the surface treatment including the phosphating process waste water plant set by providing chemical, waste water treatment expertise in construction and process design, ensures compliancy to construction quality assurance in the construction phases, until the successful commission.

4. Identifies and provides the need for technical engineering training in F&M, Engineering, Quality and all other production departments;

5. Support the EHS team on the plants’ establishment of EHS management systems and official accreditation for ISO14001/45001, OHSAS18001 standards;

6. Establishes a sustainable Energy and key EHS periodic data collection process in parallel with the company’s strategic market development, and ensures compliancy to local and national environmental laws and regulations; Support the plants clean production and other environmental/safety related strategic efforts;

7. Provides monthly, quarterly and annual sustainable energy development reports, while investigating and proposing short to middle long term business plans for energy, waste and emission reduction;

8. Support the quality and document control team in the establishment & restructuring of the company’s QMS. 

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering and/or related field of education;

2. Track record as major stakeholder of successfully delivering of a facility construction project & management >10m USD;

3. At least 15 years of relevant working experience in environmental, health and safety protection management in manufacturing industry;

4. Waste water plant, solid waste experience, and/or gas emissions would be a distinct advantage;

5. Systematic construction project quality assurance and hands-on skills until the successful commission of the complete construction and installation project.

6. Familiar with International installation and quality standards for HVAC, HV/LV Electricity systems, Compressed air systems, cranes, steel structures, pipelines, pressure vessels, LNG systems, Loading/unloading systems, fire prevention and civil engineering standards.

7. Excellent communicator and preferably fully bilingual in Chinese and English (CET-6) in reading, writing and oral communication; German language skills would be an advantage;

8. Structured, strong minded individual with a proficient sense of data collection and data evaluation;

9. Strong sense of responsibility, attention for detail; Team player that performs with minimum supervision;

10. Proficient in OFFICE software; CAD utilization and/or VR experience is an advantage.
