Job Summary

 He / She will be responsible for developing the product specification and providing feedback to customer, and work with suppliers to establish capable processes to ensure module can consistently meet specifications.

Key Qualifications

? Minimum total 7 to 10 years of experience in design engineering or manufacturing process development.

? Familiar with design of experiment tool and data analysis.

? Direct experience in manufacturing process design, review and buy off.

? Excellent product management skill.

? Positively work with cross functional teams and oversea teams .

? Supplier management experience is a plus.

? HDD industry working experience is a plus. 

? Fluent written and oral English communication.

Description

-Partner closely with engineering teams during all phases of development and product introduction. Review module drawing / specification and provide DFM feedback to customer.

 -Work closely with suppliers to provide technical & manufacturing direction to guarantee their ability to meet customer design, test and quality requirement. 

-Lead a team of engineers (manufacturing, DFX, test, SQE, tooling, etc. ) to establish capable processes that can meet module specification.

 -Drive manufacturing, test and final assembly process related technical and operational issues to ensure issue closure. 

-Review all equipment requirement plans, along with assessment of the robustness of solution to meet operation requirement and implementation of any additional solutions to mitigate any risks to plans.

 -Serve as operational technical advisor and ensure operational technical readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle. 

-Support SQE for supplier process review and FA approval.
