Technical Translator job description as follow;

• Compile terminology and information to be used in translation of color, chemical and fiber-related documents, including technical, scientific, and legal terms;
• Research background material in related subjects to accurately translate difficult terms or highly technical languages;
• Research, collect, analyze and translate information regarding recycle policy and regulations in China.; Proofread and edit translated documents for accuracy and consistency;
• Completely understand and precisely translate business documents (financial statements, legal documents, marketing reports, business plan, contracts, purchase order etc.) from Chinese to English or vice versa
• Research background material in related subjects to accurately translate difficult terms or highly technical languages including manual books, user guide, patent, etc.;
• Translate English/Chinese business documents and marketing materials for the English/Chinese business markets;
• Translate/check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translated documents;
• Conduct simultaneous translations in business conferences, inspection visits, and contract negotiations;
• Assist in marketing of foreign credential evaluation services through website content, conference presentation, workshops and other publications;
• Able to travel frequently.

Minimum Requirements:

• NAETI/CATTI 2, equivalent acceptable;
• Min 3 years related experience
• Tested proficiency in Chinese and English (oral and written);
• Familiarity with the manufacturing system
• Strong writing and oral communication skills;
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
