ROLE

The electrician is responsible for all of ZH plant electrical repairs and preventive maintenance programs.This includes production units,office buildings,maintenance shops and all of the sites lighting equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Do trouble-shooting,repairing work and simple installation of electrical equipment and facilities.Make sure all work being performed meets or exceeds GB or NEC and plant electrical standards.See that all work is performed in a safe, timely,and cost effective manner.

2.Attend various meetings that include but not limited to,lineup,staff,and shutdowns.Review all electrical man hours required and their priority rating and order all parts that will be required.

3.Follow MOC procedure.

4.Ordering spare parts by purchase requisitions and keeping the right quantities in our central stores.

5.See that our high-voltage substation is properly maintained and that our MCC's and switch gear are PM'd on a regular basis.

6.Update the p.m. work orders and schedule for due date completion. Enter new pm's when needed.

7.Support plant safety programs and policies.

Education/Certification

A Bachelor of Science degree or a college level in electrical or automation disciplines is required.

Experience and Skills

At least 3 years' related working experiences as a electrician. Understanding of Equipment installation,troubleshooting and repair is needed. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Electrician has no supervisory responsibility.
